Balanced Perspectives is a celebrationof Melbourne in dance. It is an eclecticfusion of Movement, Sound andVision. The program features newworks by Simon Hoy, Robert Kelly and Swiss choreographerDamian Gmuer and showcasesartworks exhibited by artist DanielKaplon and music composedby Christopher Harrison.

In One Day-
by Simon Hoy andRobert Kelly to music by AntonioVivaldi. In One Day is an arresting journey through four mystical seasons that go to make up ‘one perfect day!’

translated fromGerman to English means “No Idea”.Choreographed by Damian.M.G andRita.A.B. The piece conveys a feeling ofisolation, coldness and social separation.The stark, abstract nature of this piececreates an ambience that leaves theaudience feeling touched and involved.Damian Gmuer has extended artisticlicense to Robert Kelly and Simon Hoyto re-work and develop this piece forthe artists of The Melbourne BalletCompany.
